I get so sad when I’m just scrolling through my dash and I see pictures of Blaine, Sam, or Unique next to the season 4 new characters.
I just… I know the glee writers know how to introduce new characters in a way that doesn’t make me want to punch them in the face. They did it with Sam, Unique, and Blaine. I love those three, and I could easily watch any episode centered around any one of them. But the new characters? Ummm…. no. No interest whatsoever. It’s like that Billboard review said. I feel like I’m watching two different shows, one about the old characters and one about the new ones, and I don’t actually care about the new ones. Work new characters into old characters’ stories and world. That’s how you introduce new characters that actually fit into your show. Like I said, I know the writers know how to do this, so it just frustrates the hell out of me that they didn’t do it this season.
